The Little People are actively involved in recruiting, training and investing in volunteers. The little People Romania trains countless volunteers and places them to serve in many needy situations. We see the need for volunteers to be given effective training to enhance their own abilities and to undertake projects that will change and enrich the communities that they live in.

In 2009 Little people volunteers gave;

over 100,000 hours in voluntary service to the Romania community

64 training workshops held in Cluj Napoca and Bucharest Timisoara. Workshops are held on topics related to working within healthcare facilities, enhancing your role within a community and working with children and adults who have special needs. Workshops are held on project - performance and change management.

9 hospital wards benefit daily from Little people volunteers - 1 orphanage - 2 senior citizen homes 2 hospices - 3 schools for children with special needs

Voted the best volunteers in 2007, 2008 and 2009 - 2010 by the international para-olympic committee for RITTO (Romanian international table tennis open) the largest sporting event to take place annually in Romania - Little people volunteers fund raise, manage and organize every aspect of RITTO, involving over 600 students from every High school in Cluj Napoca.
