Temerarii had the extraordinary opportunity to meet with the football players of Chelsea football club and watch them train at the local CFR Stadium. Everyone was really forthcoming and gave us a warm welcome; the players signed autographs for the members of our cancer survivor’s club and signed the footballs that will be placed in the local oncology ward’s paediatric section and at Temerarii HQ.

The whole event was magical, and a dream come true for the Temerarii Kids. Chelsea FC set a fantastic example of being great ambassadors of the game!

We would like to say a special thank you to Mr. Barry Davidson HM Consul of Great Britain, UEFA, the Chelsea Football Club, and the local team CFR PR and Marketing Managers for their help, and to Mr Luiz Felipe Scolari the Chelsea coach for his special permission to allow his players to meet the kids one on one and to spend time with the Temerarii kids. He allowed the Temerarii the special treat of watching the whole training session, while asking the world’s press to kindly leave!
